1.EN 60335-2-15:2016 /AMD11:2018 Standard update for special requirements for liquid heaters
WALTEK Standard Interpretation Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances - Particular Requirements for Liquid Heaters EN 60335-2-15: Revised 2016 AMD11:2018 has been formally published. Official effective date DOP: 2019-03-28, enforcement date DOW: 2021-09-28. EN 60335-2-15:2016/AMD11:2018 New changes include:
(1) Add a new definition of Pot coffee-maker.
(2) In Chapter 7, Marking and Description, add a warning statement to the pot coffee machine to prevent overfilling.
(3) In the structure of Chapter 22, the new clause 22.Z101 is added. The pot coffee machine should not have coffee foam overflow during normal use.
2.IEC 60335-2-14:2016 /AMD1:2019 standard update of kitchen machinery
IECEE recently released the safety of household and similar electrical appliances - special requirements for kitchen machinery IEC 60335-2-14:2016 revision AMD1: 2019. IEC 60335-2-14:2016/AMD1:2019 New changes include:
(1) Clause 11.17 in the fever clause 11.7.111 delete the last paragraph.
(2) Clause 20.2 of Chapter 20 Stability and Mechanical Hazards adds the following:

(4) The grinding screw has a protruding height of less than 4 mm and meets the following dimensional requirements:
a. The distance between the outer circumference of the screw (see B in Figure 104) and the inner wall of the grinding chamber (see Figure C, C) (see S in Figure 104) is no more than 1 mm;
b. The distance between the inner wall angle of the feed port and the grinding cavity is less than 2 mm (see R2 in Fig. 104);
c. The screw has no sharp edges;
d. The distance between the inner wall of the feed port opposite to the grinding direction and the perpendicular to the center point of the screw (see W in Fig. 104) should be no more than 0.75 times the screw radius (see R1 in Fig. 104).
(5) Clause 20.106 does not apply to structures that meet the screw size requirements of Clause 20.2.
